Zoanthids Aqualculture While the propagation of expensive Ricorida Yuma can be very intimidating the rewards are unmeasured. The specimens are virtually unobtainable at this point. Beginning propagation with Green Ricordia Florida may be a good first step. They respond well and heal quickly. Try to Isolate the fragments in a chamber with good water movement and check them daily.

Zoanthids Special Considerations While Most Zoanthids will do very well in bright light the Palythoa counterparts will not. As a rule of thumb as darker colored specimen in this Zoanthids family light green and below need to be placed in a less intense lighting situation. While orange to red Zoanthids will color up in bright light, Purple Blue and the darker specimens will just suffer and perhaps melt.
